I'm a teacher.

I'm also a mom, a wife, a friend, and a daughter.

I like to create things. I like to learn.

I am a lifelong resident of the Florida Gulf Coast, and my husband has yet to convince me to trade the beach for snow (though he continues to try).

I have been working in education in some capacity since I graduated high school.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in English, with minors in Education and Journalism each one course shy of completion (long story), and a Master's Degree in Gifted, Talented, and Creative Education.

I have been a classroom teacher since 2007. I have worked in both the public and private school systems and have experience with a wide range of student needs.

My dream job would be working in curriculum design and development specifically for gifted and high achieving students to work autonomously in school systems where funding or staffing may not be able to adequately meet their needs.
