Making Learning Videos

At the beginning of the year, my principal asked me to facilitate a faculty inservice on how to create learning videos for students. We didn't know what the year would look like due to COVID, so we wanted our teachers to be prepared for anything.

This slide deck was my outline of that inservice presentation. During the course of the class, I realized that not only did I misgauge the teachers' background knowledge, but they also did not have the tablets we expected to have.

Because of this, I took a step back, analyzed the needs of my organization, and created a YouTube series on creating learning videos using only Zoom and a slide deck, which was much more accessible for my teachers and the technology to which they had access.
